Drivemapping

To map to H: drive (user folder) and W: drive (web folder):

Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Win7 users

Right-click on My Network Places. Choose "Map Network Drive,"

OR

Right Click My Computer on Desktop or from Start Menu

Select Map Network Drive from Popup Menu

THEN

Browse to H or W Drive; Check box for Reconnect at Login

• Select drive H: then type in "Path" or "Folder" \\kermit\shome$\username
  
  
• Select drive W: then type in "Path" or "Folder" \\stuweb08\username
  
  Check box that says "Reconnect at Logon."
  
  If a pop-up screen appears asking for a username and password, enter:
  campus\username
  password
  
  Mapped drives should then appear in "My Computer" window.

MAC Users:

From the Finder, Choose GO> Connect to Server

Type one of the following:

• smb://kermit/shome$/your username  (for the H drive)
• smb://stuweb08/username$  (for your W drive)

Enter your JCU Campus network username & password in the Authentication pop-up window

The drive will be accessible from the Apple menu under Recent Items.
