HOUSING FOR THE 2006 JAA CONFERENCE AT JCU
There are two options for housing while you are at the conference.
THE HYATT REGENCY CLEVELAND at the Arcade

The Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade, located in a beautiful National Historic Landmark building, will provide Accommodations in the heart of downtown Cleveland at a special pre-arranged JAA rate of $119.00 per night.
Hyatt guestroom amenities include high-speed wireless and wired Internet, data ports, two-line telephones, in-room safes, and pillow-top mattresses. The hotel offers a private-access fitness center in addition to access to the recently renovated Cleveland Arcade--55,000 square feet of retail space which includes a full-service restaurant and lounge, day spa, food court, and numerous shops and boutiques. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Hyatt and John Carroll University and all social events. Chauffered parking is available at the hotel for $15.00 a day; public parking is also available in adjacent lots.Conference attendees may want to spend some additional time visiting in Cleveland, as the Hyatt is conveniently located only steps away from many of the city's main attractions--the Theatre District, The Flats, Great Lakes Science Center, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Jacobs Field and Browns Stadium. Severance Hall (home of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra), the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and the Museum of Natural History are only moments away. Those wishing to extend their stay, either before or after the conference, may take advantage of the special JAA rate of $119.00 per night for reservations from June 8th through June 15th.

On-Campus Housing at John Carroll University
On-Campus housing is available on a first come, first serve basis in Bernet Hall located on the quad in the center of John Carroll University. These rooms are simply furnished and range from a few one-bedroom units to three bedroom suites, with one bed per room (a total of 50 beds).
For the JAA Conference, we will provide one person per room with a total of 50 available beds. Some are in single suites, some in double, and some in triple. We provide linens, towels, a bathmat, soap, drinking cup, and a lounge with a TV. Each suite has temperature controls, and is high speed wireless network capable.
No guarantees can be made for the size of bedrooms or suitemates, but every effort will be made to accomodate your request. When you register, list your preferred suite mates and please ask your preferred suite mates to list you on their form as well. Single lodging is subject to availablity.
