Since November 1999, Penny
Dempsey St. John has been the Executive Director of Alumni and Parent Relations at Regis University. Penny is responsible for developing a national program for over 66,000 alumni and parents.
She oversees the Alumni Association, Crest Club Leadership Committee and Parent Volunteer Board. She executes multiple programs locally and nationally with all budget authority. Events include: cultural, social, educational, spiritual and community service. Outreach to various constituents with emphasis on customer service and "friend - raising". She is responsible for complete restructuring of Alumni Board Charter revision, which included: Board Membership configuration, term limits, committee structure and leadership.
Penny is in the process of completing a national, random alumni survey, which will be the centerpiece of a five-year strategic plan. Established: Alumni Audit Program; Young Alumni Leadership Committee and annual events; successful Denver downtown Breakfast Roundtable series; "Alumni for Others" service project; Alumni Weekend events for non-traditional alumni and campus-based educational seminar series. Currently, Penny is designing "Friends and Alumni" Speakers Series and reorganization of National Clubs. |
