Paul L. Locatelli, S.J., Secretary for Higher Education for the Society of Jesus, died July 12 from pancreatic cancer. Fr. Locatelli was the past president of Santa Clara University and the organizing force behind an international gathering of Jesuits and other leaders in higher education that met in April in Mexico City, including John Carroll President Robert L. Niehoff, S.J., and Academic Vice President John T. Day, Ph.D.
