Four Year Latin Scholarship
CLASSICS PROGRAMS
THE CASTELLANO SCHOLARSHIP:
One full-tuition four-year scholarship is available to freshmen
entering John Carroll University in the Fall of 2008 who have had
at least three years of the study of Latin at the secondary level,
and intend to major in Latin or ancient Greek. (Requirement to retain
scholarship: "B"
average in major and overall grades.)
This scholarship, offered for the first time in 1982, was established
in honor of Reverend Charles A. Castellano, S.J., longtime member
of the Classical Languages Department, who died in 1976.
