Saturday, May 9, 2009, the
Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society hosted the third in a Series of Cultural
Programs funded in part by a grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. We are
a part of the rich cultural heritage in Cuyahoga County, and had designed
a series of programs for all ages that enriched our audience with the folk
songs, dances and seasonal customs of Hungary, and of three other cultures
represented in our community. During our program entitled.

"THE ART IN
FOLK DANCE"
. . we discovered the world of Hungarian & Slovenian folk dance, as the
Cleveland Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble & the Folklorna Skupina Kres
Slovenian Dancers shared the grace and beauty of folk dancing. As per our
tradition, during the reception following, we exchanged ideas and had an
opportunity to meet our guests.
