In
addition to the required major and optional minor programs, the
university also offers a number of interdisciplinary concentrations
and programs as options to supplement and strengthen specific
degree majors. Interdisciplinary concentrations consist
of approximately 18 to 39 semester hours of course work in which
the student has attained at least a 2.0 (C) average. To
qualify for a concentration students must complete all the requirements
of the related major as specified in the Bulletin. A
completed concentration is noted on the transcript. For
further details concerning concentrations, programs, and recommended
courses, students are advised to contact the coordinator/director
or the chairperson of a department participating in the concentration
or program. The contact secretary for all concentrations
is located in the Department
of Political Science in the Administration
Building.
