The LLC has  satellite connections to Dish Network (www.dishnetwork.com).  We subscribe to channels on Dish Network in six languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish.  Instructors can arrange for recording of a program on VHS tape or DVD.  In addition, programs can be viewed live at one of 31 stations (individual viewing) or 2 stations (group viewing) in the LLC, in OC 112 (group viewing) or the department library OC 139 (group viewing). Cable connection to Dish Network is available in the following classrooms: OC 25, 26, 103, 113, 114, 116, 214. A portable cart with LCD projector and Dish receiver can be ordered from Jeff La Favre for viewing TV in these classrooms.
