It is strongly recommended that students
gain an international experience by studying abroad, preferably
for a semester or year. Ample opportunities exist
in the language department for international study, whereby
students follow the language of their choice, take core
courses in English, and reap the benefits of cultural immersion.
All majors of French, German, and
Spanish should make sure to apply for the René Fabien
Scholarship, which is designed
for use toward study-abroad costs. Application deadline
is in March.
