These electronic databases, selected from the library's collection of databases, could be especially useful in studying and researching topics in Hispanic American Studies.
  • Academic Search Premier (1984-present; selected full text)
          Abstracts and indexes almost 4,500 journals. Contains full text for nearly 3,500 scholarly publications. A multi-disciplinary database covering nearly every area of academic study.

     
  • America: History and Life (1964 - present)

  •       Contains a comprehensive bibliography of articles on the history and culture of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. Offers abstracts and citations for articles appearing in over 2,000 journals published worldwide in history, related humanities, and the social sciences. Includes citations to book reviews from approximately 140 major journals of American history and culture.
     
  • Chicano Database (1967 - present)

  •       The Chicano Database is a comprehensive bibliographic index representing all types of material for information about Mexican-American topics and the only specialized database for and about Chicanos.
     
  • Sociological Collection (1984-present; selected full text)
          The Sociological Collection is a comprehensive database with nearly 580 full text titles, providing information on all areas of sociology, including social behavior, human tendencies, interaction, relationships, community development, culture and social structure.
