This paper describes the authors' use of Maple V to create mathematical animations for inclusion in web pages.  Several types of animations are discussed, including rotating surfaces in 3-space, real-time construction of parametrized curves such as the trefoil knot, and solids of revolution.  Live examples of these animations are also available on the web.  This paper was presented at the 1999 ICTCM in San Francisco, and has appeared in the electronic proceedings of that conference.
