Bagging Ignatius Series '05-'06

Over the last three years we have explored the principles of Ignatian spirituality (in 2002-2003), the Spiritual Exercises (in 2003-2004), and the life and experiences of Ignatius Loyola (2004-2005). This year we will examine important works that are formative in the history of Ignatian spirituality or apostolic work. Some of the texts we will look at include Rahner's Notes on the Spiritual Exercises, Teilhard de Chardin's The Divine Milieu, de Caussade's Abandonment to Divine Providence, and O'Malley's The First Jesuits. We will discuss where these works came from and why they still hold something helpful for us today.

This is a brown bag lunch series. Bring your lunch. Desserts and drinks are provided. All talks are at noon.
