LATIN AMERICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION

The primary purpose of Latin American Student Association (LASA) is to be an official group that provides an opportunity for students of Latin American heritage as well as those interested in Latin American culture to meet on a regular basis, organize activities of various sorts, and increase both the number of Latino/a students on campus and the awareness of our presence and value to the university at large. We want YOU as a member of LASA to come forward with ideas, strength, pride, motivation and conviction to make the JCU campus aware of our culture. Soon the Latino community will be the largest minority in the country. This brings great power and responsibility for us, making it necessary to show what the Latino community is capable of doing.
