About 100 students along with members of the faculty, staff and administration spent Spring Break (Mar 3-10) engaged in community service and social justice issues and otherwise immersing themselves in a variety of communities from Cleveland's inner city to the South to Nicaragua.

In the coming months other groups will travel to Ecuador, Jamaica and Tijuana. (See rosters below.)

At the Feb 25 Sunday evening Mass in Saint Francis Chapel celebrated by Rev. Donald Cozzens, members of the JCU community gathered to "commmission" the immersion volunteers and to pray for them.
