Presentation of the latest work from Rev Francis Smith SJ, Professor Emeritus at John Carroll, last week (Nov 2) was the most recent in a series of readings during the fall semester. In addition to Father Smith (whose selections were read by JCU's George Bilgere PhD, the authors were Matthew Pateman PhD (Oct 19), University of Hull in England, lecturing on British poets; Sergey Gandlevsky (Oct 12) with his translator, JCU's Philip Metres PhD; Mary Quade, author from Madison (OH), and John Donaghue (both Sep 28).
