'Faith is for changing the big things.' Jim Wallis tells JCU graduates.

Jim Wallis (below, left), founder of Sojourners magazine and Christian community, addressed the Class of 2005 at Commencement exercises today (May 22) at John Carroll. "Faith is for changing the big things," Wallis said. "Things that nobody thinks can be changed. Things that others say are hopeless, where the odds are against us. That is indeed the time for faith. I want to ask our graduates today a special question: What is the big thing you're going to do?"

Also challenging and inspiring was Connor Mullin (below, right), who spoke for his class as the Millor Orator. (Click on audio icons below to hear audio streaming.)
