invites George Bilgere to Library of Congress |

George Bilgere gave a poetry reading last week (Apr 18) at the Library
of Congress, at the invitation of Ted Kooser, Poet Laureate of the
United States. The event was part of a series of activities celebrating
National Poetry Month. This was Dr. Bilgere's second appearance at
the Library of Congress, having been invited there 3 years ago by
thenPoet Laureate Billy Collins. |
