The
Siena Heights University Alumni Association is honoring Mary Ann Flannery
of the Sisters of Charity with the 2006 Sister Ann Joachim Award in
recognition of her accomplishments "as an educator, a leader
in your congregation and a socially concerned citizen of our world,"
one whose career "reflects an unwavering concern for the needs
of others." Sister Flannery chairs the Department of Communications
and Theatre Arts at John Carroll.
