Lisa M. Ramsey

Lisa Ramsey is the Director of Student Activities and has been at John Carroll University since August 2004.  As Director, Lisa is responsible for the overall programmatic and administrative functions of the Office of Student Activities.  In addition, she is the coordinator of New Student Orientation and serves as the main advisor to the Student Union.  Lisa obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Thiel College and her Master’s Degree from Ohio University.  Prior to JCU Lisa spent 7½ years as the Assistant Director of Campus Life at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, IL (just outside of St. Louis).  Originally from Ohio Lisa feels good to be "home" again.  Lisa lives in Hudson with her husband, Mike and two boys (high school and school age). Lisa’s favorite part of her day in the office is working with students and student leaders to create an engaging and fun campus environment.  We are very excited to have you join the John Carroll family!  Please contact us with any questions or concerns!

Greg Lucsko

Greg graduated this spring as a psychology major and a communication minor from Bethel Park, PA, and is the Head Student Coordinator for the Orientation program.  This is his fourth year on staff and his second year on the coordinating team.  On campus, he was involved with the Student Union Programming Board, Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and much more.  He loves playing the drums, reading, and cooking.  In the fall, he will be going to graduate school at Bowling Green State University for a degree in Higher Education.  Greg knows that you've made a great choice in coming to JCU and he can't wait to meet all of you.  If you need anything, feel free to contact him.

Katie Reece

Katie Reece is a senior communication major and philosophy minor from Brunswick, Ohio, and started working with the Orientation Staff last summer.  This summer she is excited to be working as a Student Coordinator!  She is also involved in Campus Ministry, Public Relations Student Society of America, and loves to play intramural sports here at John Carroll!  She likes to travel, spend time with her family and friends, and absolutely loves anything Irish!   She is so excited for this summer and can’t wait to meet everyone!  She loves this place and is thrilled to be able to share that with everyone!  If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact her!

Candice Monroe
Assistant Student Coordinator for Administration

Candice just graduated as a communication major with an Africana studies concentration from Canton, OH and acts as the Assistant Coordinator for Administration. This is her third year on staff. At John Carroll, she was involved in Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Gospel Choir and JCU-TV. This fall, she plans on going to graduate school with a focus in journalism. In her free time she loves to sing, dance, and be with her family. She has had some of her best experiences at John Carroll and hopes you too can get the most out of JCU as she did.
