Maggie is a junior from Cleveland, OH. She is double majoring in political science and philosophy with a Latin American studies concentration. This is her first year as an orientation leader and she is very excited! On campus, she is also involved with Relay For Life, immersion trips, Christian Life Communities, retreats, and more. She is not sure what she wants to do after graduation, but is enjoying finding out at JCU. She loves singing, dance parties, watching movies, and hanging out with her family. Maggie is thrilled to meet all of you and LOVES that you are coming to hang with her and the other leaders at JCU! Don’t be shy if you need anything. |

Sam Brenner

Sam is a senior communications major and business minor hailing from Buffalo, NY. This is his second year on staff and he is quite excited to be brought back for another summer. When he is not busy orientating the promising youth of tomorrow, Sam enjoys music, the sunrise, cinema, reading, writing, dancing, playing sports, and wasting far too many hours playing Free Cell. Ronald is a rising junior and education major from Cleveland, OH. On campus, Ron is involved in the Student Union Programming Board, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, and is also a resident assistant in Murphy Hall. This is Ronald’s first year on orientation staff and he is very excited to be a part of the team. He loves to play video games, football, and watch sports in his spare time. Ron believes that he made the right decision when he chose to attend John Carroll University and is privileged to be here. |

Callie is a junior English major who plans to teach high school after college. She is involved in the theatre department on campus and has stage managed two shows at JCU. She is passionate about intramural sports and has been part of a number of IM championships. This is her second year on staff and she is very excited to welcome the class of 2012 to John Carroll! |

Alicia Giannell is a rising sophomore history education major from Perry, OH. This is her first year on orientation staff. On campus, she is very involved in JCU varsity track and field where she long jumps and triple jumps. She enjoys shopping, performing community service, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. In her years at John Carroll, she hopes to become a campus minister and work with “Seeds of Hope.” She is so excited to meet all of you and she thinks it is wonderful that you have chosen JCU; you will not regret it. Billy Mather

Billy is a rising junior sociology major with a track in human services. He hails from Oswego, NY, and this is his first year on orientation staff. On campus, he is a proud founding father and Director for Volunteer Service for Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and he also plays bass in the JCU Jazz Band. He loves playing Ultimate Frisbee as well as writing and playing music on his bass guitar. After JCU, Billy plans to attend graduate school for a master’s degree in public health and is aspiring for a career in healthcare administration and management. Billy is passionate and devoted to campus life at JCU and can’t wait to show you all why. |

Patrick is a senior political science major with minors in communications and history from Vandergrift, PA. During the school year, Patrick is involved in the Student Union as the Executive Vice President, Rhapsody Blue a cappella choir, Spring Concert Committee, One-in-Four men’s peer group, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and is a resident assistant. He also loves to travel, attend concerts, golf, and cheer on any Pittsburgh related sports team. This is Patrick’s second summer as an orientation leader and he is excited to meet the class of 2012. |

Gabriella is a senior communications major and English minor from Buffalo, NY. As a proud Buffalonian she enjoys watching the Sabres play hockey and loves cheering on the Buffalo Bills. This is Gabriella’s first year on staff. On campus, she is an Admissions Tour Guide, works in the Services for Students with Disabilities Office, and participates in the One-Act Plays. She enjoys playing songs on repeat, the season of fall, reading books about women’s issues, and dancing. Gabriella is ecstatic that you have chosen to come to JCU and can’t wait to meet you.
