STREAK WEEK ADVISING & TRANSITION (SWAT) TEAM

The Streak Week Advising & Transition (S.W.A.T.) Team will make our first year students’ transition from home to JCU as smooth and enjoyable as possible!

Formerly called the Mentorship Program, SWAT team members will be responsible for contacting new students in the summer and early fall, as well as serving as a move-in crew member and Streak Week small group leader.

We are currently accepting applications to become a member of the SWAT Team.  It is especially important that all applicants are available during the week of August 25, 2008, as this will be move-in week, training, and Streak Week.  Further details about expectations of a SWAT Team member are included in the application packet, which you can download below.  All SWAT Team members will be able to move in early, gain valuable leadership training, receive complimentary meals, earn $100 in Carroll Cash, and receive two free t-shirts!

All application materials are due by Friday, April 25, 2008 to Janet Paradise in the Office of Student Activities, Suite 201 of the Lombardo Student Center (right above the bookstore).
