My writings are mostly in logic and ethics. My five logic books include a brief book on Gödel's Theorem Simplified (1984), two older Prentice-Hall logic textbooks (1989 and 1990), a newer Introduction to Logic (Routledge 2002 -- a basic-to-intermediate logic textbook with LogiCola instructional software), and an Historical Dictionary of Logic (Scarecrow [Rowman & Littlefield] 2006 -- a one-volume encyclopedia of logic).

My four ethics books include Formal Ethics (Routledge 1996 -- a technical book about formal ethical principles -- this and the next book have Web exercises and downloadable exercise software), Ethics: A Contemporary Introduction (Routledge 1998 -- an ethics textbook which has been translated into French by M.-C. Désorcy as Questions d'éthique: Une approche raisonnée de quelques perspectives contemporaines (Chenelière/McGraw-Hill, 2002) and into Thai by Jakaew Tanunath as (Bangkok, 2006)), Ethics: Contemporary Readings (Routledge 2004 -- co-edited with Jim Swindal and Earl Spurgin), and Historical Dictionary of Ethics (Scarecrow [Rowman & Littlefield] 2008?? -- co-authored with Earl Spurgin).

I also co-edited, with Jim Swindal, The Sheed & Ward Anthology of Catholic Philosophy (Sheed & Ward [Rowman & Littlefield] 2005).

• MOO menu system (11 Sept 99 version) for Windows 95 - quicker than the START BUTTON. It was the Sept 97 CompuServe WUGNET pick of the week and is listed on many Web sites.
• Kaleidoscope Screen Saver (1 November 98 version) - Ziff-Davis (the PC Magazine people) put it in their shareware collection and gave it a 4-star rating.
• Windows Editor (24 February 2000 version) - PC World (October 1994, page 134) said it's better than Notepad.
• Grades (19 December 2000 version) - a useful little grading program.
• Tic-tac-toe game; if you set it to the highest level, you can't beat it.
