Running LogiCola on Linux
My directions are based on the Ubuntu 9.10 flavor of Linux

First install Wine (if it isn't already installed)
  1. On the top menubar, click Applications, then Ubuntu Software Center, then Get Free Software
  2. Type this and hit enter: Wine
  3. Highlight this and click the arrow: Wine Microsoft Windows Compatibility Layer
  4. Click Install
  5. Type password and then click Authenticate
  6. Close all the open windows
Then download LogiCola's Setup Program
  1. On the top menubar, click Applications, then Internet, then Firefox Web Browser
  2. Go to http://www.jcu.edu/philosophy/gensler/lc
  3. Click where it says CLICK HERE
  4. Click on Save File
  5. Close all the open windows
Then run LogiCola's Setup Program
  1. On the top menubar, click Applications, then Wine, then Browse C:\ Drive
  2. Click Downloads
  3. Double-click LCSetup.exe
  4. Click Install on my flash drive or Install on my computer
  5. Click Install
  6. Close all the open windows
  7. If you installed on your computer, then, on the desktop, double-click LogiCola.desktop, click Mark as Trusted, and delete the LogiCola.lnk icon that may be left on the desktop
Whenever you want to run LogiCola (which you installed on your flash drive)
  1. Insert your flash drive
  2. Double-click the flash-drive icon when it appears on the desktop
  3. Double-click the LogiCola cola-can icon
Whenever you want to run LogiCola (which you installed on your computer)
  1. Double-click the LogiCola cola-can icon on the desktop; or
  2. On the top menubar, click Applications, then Wine, then Browse C:\ Drive; then double-click Program Files, then LogiCola, then LogiCola.exe
