BOOK: The second edition of Gensler's Introduction to Logic, which goes with LogiCola, will be published by Routledge press by January 12, 2010. Click here or here to order.

FURTHER UPDATES: If I modify LogiCola, you can repeat the process described above to update your program; this won't erase your scores. However, it's easier to update within LogiCola, using the TOOLS | UPDATE LOGICOLA option on LogiCola's menu bar; you can check for updates automatically or manually -- and if you want to update then you can do so just by clicking YES.

DOWNLOAD DIFFICULTIES: If you lack a Web connection or have problems installing LogiCola from the Web, then you can install LogiCola to a flash drive from any computer that has LogiCola installed (just use the TOOLS | COPY SCORES OR PROGRAM TO FLASH DRIVE option on LogiCola's menu bar).

WINDOWS VERSIONS: I've tested the current LogiCola in Windows XP (32-bit), Windows Vista (32- and 64-bit), and Windows 7 (64-bit) -- and it works fine; it should also work fine in the 32-bit version of Windows 7, but I haven't tested this. For earlier versions of Windows, use these zipped forms of the 2003 LogiCola (which also includes a DOS version for ancient computers) and its score processing program.

MACINTOSH & LINUX: Even though LogiCola is a Windows program, some run it in Mac or Linux using Wine (which is free and doesn't require a copy of Windows). Here's a tutorial on how to run LogiCola on a Mac using Wine. You can also consult tutorials on how to install Wine on Mac or Linux -- or Google "install Wine on Macintosh" or "install Wine on Linux" -- or get a geek friend to install it for you. Another possibility is to run LogiCola in a free Virtual Box running Windows (which you have to get and install). If you have further insights on using LogiCola on Mac/Linux, e-mail me and I'll share the wisdom.

View LogiCola Help (or LogiSkor Help), which don't work
within LogiCola (or LogiSkor) if you use the Wine emulation.

Things you can also access from LogiCola's HELP menu:
