Therapist

Therapists are health care professionals who provide specialized courses of treatment in collaboration with a physician or other diagnostician. Included here are occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech therapists. Physical therapists may engage in rehabilitative treatments or preventative therapies, while occupational therapists teach clients to perform the tasks of daily living after impairment caused by illness or injury are that result from congenital abnormalities. Speech therapists provide treatment designed to improve the communicative abilities of their clients where speech is affected by illness, injury, or is congenitally disaffected.
