First the good news:
JCU, thanks in part to pitcher Luke Adkins and cleanup hitter Charles Hendricks,
trounced B-W, 13-4, in the first game of a home opener yesterday that had been rained
out five times; but the Streaks dropped the second game by the same margin,
11-2.
Meanwhile, the women's fastpitch softball team also split their doubleheader with B-W, this one on the Yellow Jackets diamond, winning, 1-0, before losing, 2-1. For more information see Sports Headlines. |
