Construction of the Dolan
Center for Science and Technology has reached its first milestone
following groundbreaking in mid-June, with the pouring of concrete for the
foundation. Actually, "pumping" more accurately describes
the process, one that will continue for several weeks in the largest construction project in JCU history. The $66 million Dolan
Center remains on schedule to open for the fall semester of 2003.
