Dolores Christie (right) welcomes Joan Nuth of Religious Studies to the new JCU home of the Catholic Theological Society of America.   For over a half-century the professional association of over 1400 members has promoted study and research in theology, relating theological science to contemporary problems, and fostering a more effective theological education by providing a forum for an exchange of views among theologians and with scholars in other disciplines. Ultimately CTSA seeks to develop in Christian people a more mature understanding of their faith and to further the cause of unity among all people through a better appreciation of the role of religious faith in society.  Dr. Christie is executive secretary of CTSA.
