| The nationally known Greater
Cleveland Choral Chapter, under the direction of Richard Smith (at piano),
appeared in Kulas Auditorium last night at the invitation of Rev. Valentino Lassiter, Pastor in
Residence, with the assistance of the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
"You have to participate in Gospel Music," Dr. Lassiter noted,
"whether you clap, echo or swing and sway." Only a few of the 65
members of the interdenominational choir were absent from the stage,
including President Corene Robinson, who was in the audience but unable to
sing because of a cold. |
