Terry Tafoya, a Taos Pueblo and Warm Springs Indian, psychologist and Native American storyteller
who is renowned for his use of American Indian ritual and ceremony in his work as an educator, trainer, and
therapist, delivered a lecture, "Many Tongues, One Heart" yesterday
at JCU. A member of the National Teaching Faculty of the American Psychological
Association, Dr. Tafoya has covered topics ranging from mental health to human sexuality
and from AIDS/HIV and substance abuse prevention to bilingual education.
His presentation was sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
