JCU presents oratory, music, poetry to honor King memory

JCU's Office of Multicultural Affairs presented a program in January honoring the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The program featured (top left) an address by Dr. Julian Earls, Deputy Director of Operations, NASA Glenn Research Center; the University Chamber Choir under the direction of Jim Kotora; (bottom, l to r) student Vrondia Billups reading her poem, "Here I Stand;" Soloist Elsie Mescudi accompanied by Flautist Denise Lardel-Edwards; and student Michael Gali reading his poem, "Uhuru."
