Carroll continues to enhance science instrumentation

Undergraduates at JCU this fall will find two new instruments to enhance their science education: the EMX Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectrometer (l), demonstrated by Dr. Catherine Miller; and the Photon counting spectrofluorometer, undergoing a test by Drs. David Mascotti (seated) and Mark Waner.  The instruments normally would be found in much larger universities, and then primarily in the research labs of faculty members and graduate students. Mark Waner said JCU is awaiting delivery of yet other sophisticated systems this fall.
