OAC swimming today and tomorrow at Johnson Natatorium

The Ohio Athletic Conference swimming championships began yesterday at Johnson Natatorium, continuing today and concluding tomorrow (Feb. 16), with preliminary events starting at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each day.  After the Carroll team and fans cheered the competitors onto the starting blocks, Suzanne Matthews (above right) anchored the Blue Streaks in the 200 freestyle relay.  The JCU women's team has never lost in 12 years in the OAC; the men's team has finished second just once.  For information on both teams as well as progress reports on this weekend's tournament, visit JCU Swimming or check Sports Headlines.
