| John Carroll came in first and second in
the Ohio Athletic Conference
swimming championships over the weekend at Johnson Natatorium. The
men's team won convincingly and the women lost by 1.5 points to
Baldwin-Wallace. It marked the closest finish in OAC history and the
first time in their 13 years in the OAC that the Blue Streaks women
finished lower than first. Eric Richmond led the JCU men, setting three OAC records and three JCU varsity
records and advancing in competition for NCAA Div. III tournament berths
in three events.
