Paul Robeson, Jr., brings legendary father to life

Paul Robeson, Jr. Paul Robeson, Jr., last night presented a lecture at Carroll on his legendary father's life as athlete, actor, singer, scholar, activist and pioneer in the liberation movement in South Africa. A scholar in his own right, Paul Jr. based his lecture on his book, "Remembering Paul Robeson: A Son's Tale." Earlier in the day he attended a luncheon discussion with faculty members and students.

Sponsoring the event was the Office of Multicultural Affairs which, today (4-10 p.m.) also presents "Lion Dance: A Bit of Chinese Culture," a new year's celebration.
