| Cleveland Municipal School District, with
JCU's Office of Multicultural Affairs as co-sponsor, staged the first city-wide competition for Project Citizen yesterday
with entries by students from 9 middle schools, including Luis Munoz Marin (above) and Patrick Henry (below). Project Citizen, funded by the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Bar Associations of Ohio and U.S., is designed to promote participation in government through an understanding of
public policy. The students' work was judged by officials, professionals and educators, including JCU's Dean Birch (right) and Mark Falbo. Shirley Seaton, Associate Director of Multicultural Affairs, is 11th Congressional District representative for Project Citizen. |
