| John Carroll was host last
night and today to the Ohio Board of Regents, a coordinating body for
higher education in the state. Jeannette Grasselli Brown chaired the session
this afternoon and later met with JCU psychology major Angela Serrani and chemistry major Jacob Morris, who had made presentations on their undergraduate research experiences, as did chemistry major Erin
Shaneyfelt (not pictured). Last night Melissa Bechtel '01 explained how
JCU's 5th year accountancy program enables her to complete the education
requirement for the CPA exam and gain an MBA in the process. Today
the board also heard from Father Edward Glynn SJ and from Larry Christman, president of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of
Ohio.
