"I think women really have to be looked at in a different way now," Marjorie Margolies-
Mezvinsky told her JCU audience. The president of Women's Campaign International spent a week here last month as this year's Woodrow Wilson Fellow. The former network news commentator and Congresswoman called for more women in positions of power in business, government and education. Recalling that "I never went on the floor of the House and cast my vote without thinking of my children," she added, "It is a different conversation that women have, and if women are not at the table that kind of conversation is not going to be heard." Her "list of life's rules" include "Listen to the smallest among us," and "Aim for the big rings at the top." To all students she advised, "Find out what you really want to do, have passion for it and figure out how you can make money at it."
