'From Darkness
into Light'
The JCU community filled Saint Francis Chapel last night to conclude the day's commemoration of the September 11th tragedy. Representing the Catholic, Protestant, Islamic and Jewish faiths were Father Dan Reim SJ, Reverend Valentino Lassiter, Imam Ramez Islambouli (left) and Rabbi Michael Oppenheimer (above). "We seek to move from darkness into light, from fear to courage, from violence to peace," Fr. Reim said. Imam Islambouli noted, "A year ago when the violence occurred, regardless of race, religious belief or ethnic background, we stood united. A year later we stand united again [in] our belief in an almighty God." See more of '9/11'
