"I hope and pray that I say something
tonight that thoroughly unsettles you," Cornel West began, in his
presentation before a packed Kulas Auditorium last week at John Carroll.
"I've come to John Carroll University to unnerve you, maybe even for a
moment un-house you." Dr. West, noted author and educator in Afro-American
studies, was sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and was
introduced by Juliana Mosley-Anderson, Director, following a welcome by
Shirley Seaton, Associate Director, and David LaGuardia, Academic Vice
President. Click on the image of the speakers below to hear the complete lecture. |
