Tom Arth wins battle
of quarterback keepers
as JCU defeats B-W,
20-13, in final 2 minutes

The Cuyahoga Bowl
Linesman signals touchdown as Tom Arth scores on a quarterback sneak Dan Larlham and Joe Indriolo
As JCU quarterback Tom Arth (No. 3 in center of pile) extended his arm to break the plane of the goal line with the football the linesman at left signaled the touchdown that proved to be the winner in a 20-13 thriller over Baldwin-Wallace today at the future home of Don Shula Stadium. But the Blue Streaks barely survived the last-minute heroics of B-W quarterback Dan Larlham (No. 8 in picture at right), who passed his team to the JCU goal line where he straightened up to pass and then tried to run only to come up inches short as time expired. After the game he shared a moment with JCU defensive tackle Joe Indriolo. Larlham and Indriolo were teammates at Walsh Jesuit High. The victory gave JCU another year in possession of "The Cuyahoga Bowl."
