Fans could smash a "Wilmington" car for a $1 donation to Ronald McDonald House

Homecoming 2002:
a 'smashing' success

Homecoming Saturday (Sept. 21) started off with a bang, literally, as the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity invited students, alumni and other fans to take a sledge hammer to a car painted in "Wilmington" green for their $1 donations to Ronald McDonald House. Blue Streaks student- athletes in men's and women's soccer, football, and men's and women's cross country also made the day a "smashing" success. (See sports headlines for highlights.)
