Professor Marian Morton tells of women in Cleveland history
Noting wryly that her talk might have been titled "Women in Cleveland history: True or False," since early histories focussed exclusively on men, History Professor Marian Morton this week presented highlights from her book, Women in Cleveland: an Illustrated History. The program was sponsored by the Women at Noon committee. Among Dr. Morton's books are Sin No More: Social Policy and Unwed Mothers in Cleveland, 1855-1990, and The Making of an Urban Suburb: Cleveland Heights.
