Hear Peter Marchetti SJ delivering Segundo Montes lecture

Peter Marchetti SJ delivered the Segundo Montes SJ Memorial lecture on Nov. 14, 2002. The specialist in agrarian economics and land reform spoke on "World Citizenship." A welcome was provided by Ken Eslinger and an introduction by Verghese Chirayath, both of the Department of Sociology which sponsored the event along with several other departments and programs.

Segundo Montes was Director of the Institute for Human Rights at the University of Central America in San Salvador where he was murdered on Nov. 16, 1989 along with five fellow Jesuits and two women.
