Susan Toscani organizes 'Catholic Women at Work'

"Catholic women can and must play a unique role in the professional arena," declared Susan Toscani last week in an address sponsored by the Institute of Catholic Studies. "We need to have an impact  on the workplace, instead of the workplace having an impact on us." The New Yorker is a veteran of the publishing industry and a founder of Catholic Women at Work, a national professional association of Catholic women seeking to integrate their belief system with their career. After nurturing the organization for the first five years, Toscani and her colleagues have plans to open it to national membership and to make its "basic" website a robust resource. She was introduced by Francesco Cesareo, Director of Catholic Studies. Click on the image of the speakers to hear audio streaming of her lecture.
