Student Life's 'Tunnel' provides insights into oppression
A visitor to the Tunnel of Oppression views part of the African American experience. The Division of Student Life, in conjunctionn with the University Counseling Center, has agained transformed the Murphy Room into the "Tunnel of Oppression," staging a series of interactive, multimedia exhibits designed to give the visitor some idea of what it's like to experience oppression. The Tunnel is open today (Apr 8) until 7 pm and tomorrow from 9 am-5 pm. Over the past three years more than 1000 students, faculty members, staff members, administrators and visitors from the community have toured the exhibits.
