Harold Koenig (left), M.D., Director of the Center for the Study of Religion, Spirituality & Health at Duke University Medical Center, delivered this year's inaugural lecture last night in the Tuohy Program on Science & Religion, a lecture entitled "Heal Thyself: Spirituality Medicine & Misunderstanding." The series developing the theme, "Faith in God or Faith in Science -- Must we Choose?" continues this semester on October 29 with John Haught, Professor of Theology at Georgetown and on November 19 with Andrew Trew (at right in picture), Director of the Tuohy Program at JCU.
