Mr. Christopher West, research fellow and faculty member of the Theology of the Body Institute, will be the guest of The Institute of Catholic Studies at John Carroll University on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. West will present a lecture entitled “John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.” |
WHO:

West,
a master’s graduate of John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage
and Family, is one of the most sought after speakers in the Church today.
West’s lectures revolve around John Paul’s Theology of the Body
which is the integrated vision of the human person. West discusses how the
body, soul, and spirit have a specific meaning and is capable of revealing
answers regarding fundamental questions about us and our lives.
In addition to lecturing, West is the author of The Wisdon
of John Paul II, Good News About Sex & Marriage, Theology of the Body
Explained, and Theology of the Body for Beginners. He also has lectured
at numerous facilities and universities, offering graduate and undergraduate
courses at St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver, the John Paul II Institute
in Melbourne, Australia, and Creighton University’s Institute for
Priestly Formation in Omaha. |
