WHAT:

On
April 8, 2006, John Carroll University’s Institute of Catholic Studies
will present a program of sacred music entitled “At the Name of Jesus,”
in the Saint Francis Chapel on the campus of John Carroll University. The
concert will feature the Schola Cantorum of John Carroll University, directed
by Cynthia Caporella and the Seminary Chorus, under the direction of Edward
Kaczuk. The combined choirs of John Carroll University and the Seminary
Chorus will also perform together. Combined selections will include repertoire
by W.A. Mozart. The concert is being performed as part of the Roman Catholic
Church’s rich tradition of sacred music.
Guest artists for the evening include Lara Troyer, soprano,
and Boyd Mackus, baritone. |
