John Carroll University
Presents
Forested Landscape—An Exhibition of Interdisciplinary
Creative Collaboration

This event is free and open to the public

WHAT:
A traveling exhibit of environmental photography will make its way to the campus of John Carroll University. The display, entitled Forested Landscape—An Exhibition of Interdisciplinary Creative Collaboration, highlights the work of the Creative Field Studies (CFS) Program at Hiram College. Interviews, essays, poetry, visual art works of many kinds, and musical composition are among the creative products that evolved from the collaboration of many disciplines on campus—from art to ecology and creative writing to environmental studies.

The first CFS exhibition focused on the splendid Beech-Maple forest located at the Hiram College Field Station. Through grant support from the U.S. Department of Education, funding for this second exhibition allowed the program to sponsor visiting British artist Chris Drury for this year’s display.

The John Carroll University community is pleased to host this creative collaboration in the Dolan Center for Science and Technology, one of the region’s finest academic settings for teaching and learning in the sciences.
